Maya Valencia is the co-creator of Phase Zero, a zine documenting and critiquing the current counterculture in New York City. Phase Zero fosters a new community through tangible ephemera, community meetings, and DIY methods to combat the social effects of hyperonline culture. The first five issues of Phase Zero were acquired by the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Thomas J. Watson Library collection. Phase Zero accepts all submissions.
